Guidebook
The Design-Based Learning Project created a Starter City Guidebook to show teachers how to build a city in their classroom, one of the cornerstones of the Design-Based Learning Project.
“Doing Begins Learning”
Doing Begins Learning is a collection of standalone modules to support teachers currently using or interesting in bringing the Doreen Nelson Method of Design-Based Learning (DBL) to their classroom. DBL is inquiry-based, experiential learning, bringing subject content to life for students at every grade level, from kindergarten to high school. The modules answer key questions about the methodology, offer guidance for teachers and break down barriers to using DBL in the classroom.
New modules are now available.
